JOHN BARTON
	John Barton is CEO of Health Services & Benefit Administrators, Inc. of Dublin, CA. For several decades he was a senior consultant in human resources, most recently at Mercer Human Resource Consulting, where he was a Worldwide Partner and Practice Leader for Health Care and Group Benefits. He has a BA from Occidental College, with honors, and an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

MARY FRANCIS CALLAN
	Callan, formerly superintendent of the Palo Alto Unified School District, has recently co-authored a guide for current and potential future school superintendents. "Achieving Success for New and Aspiring Superintendents - A Practical Guide," written by Callan and fellow former superintendent William Levinson, provides school district leaders with advice on such topics as the strategic planning, budgeting, and communications skills needed to be a successful superintendent.

DR. PAMELA S. CLUTE
	Executive Director for the Alpha Center (Academy of Learning through Partnerships for Higher Achievement) and Professor of Mathematics & Education, University of California, Riverside. All projects and programs are designed to enhance, in one way or another, the overall mathematics and science education of K-college students and teacher of those grade levels. Keynote speaker at various national, state conferences and special programs dealing with mathematics, science and/or educational issues

PHILIP COHEN
	Philip currently serves the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for AHMC Healthcare, Inc., which is comprised of 6 hospitals. He also serves as the Regional Chief Executive Officer for Garfield Medical Center and Monterey Park Hospital. Garfield Medical Center was recently awarded Health Grades Distinguished Hospital of Clinical Excellence Award for the fifth consecutive year. He serves as a board member with the Hospital Association of Southern California (known as HASC) as well as the Private Essential Access Community Hospitals (known as PEACH). Philip has a Masters Degree in Health Services Administration and a Masters Degree in Education and a Bachelors degree is in Economics.

THOMAS J. DAVIES
	Tom is the immediate past chairman of the Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA) board, and of the steering committee for IHA’s Pay for Performance Project. Throughout a career spanning 35 years, Tom’s activities have put him on the cutting edge of innovation in health care delivery, finance and organization in both the private and public sectors. He is currently the regional team leader for GTE and Verizon’s quality driven, value based, employee health benefits program in the West. Tom has been a long time member of the Board of Directors of the Pacific Business Group on Health and formerly of its executive committee. Tom is a graduate of Miami University (BA); the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs of the University of Pittsburgh (MPA); and the John Marshall School of Law (JD).

CINDY EHNES
	President and CEO of the California Children's Hospital Association, a network of eight regional Children's Hospitals that play a vital role in meeting the complex and critical health care needs for all California children. Ms. Ehnes brings a background of expertise in public policy, law, advocacy, and state government to the position and is licensed to practice law in both California and Colorado. Served from 2004-2011 as Director of the California Department of Managed Health Care, where she oversaw health insurance services for 21 million Californians receiving health care through 108 health plans and 200 medical groups.

DR. ALAIN C. ENTHOVEN
	Marriner S. Eccles Professor of Public & Private Management (Emeritus), Graduate School of Business, Stanford University. Former Chairman of the Health Benefits Advisory Council for CalPERS (California State employees' medical and hospital care plans). Designed and proposed the Consumer Choice Health Plan (a plan for universal health insurance based on managed competition in the private sector), while serving as a consultant to the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS), Secretary Joseph Califano and the Carter Administration (1977). Coined the term "managed competition."

DR. ROBERT MARGOLIS
	Managing Partner & Chief Executive Officer of HealthCare Partners, includes HCP, Ltd., the physician practice management organization; HealthCare Partners Medical Group; Health Care Partners Institute, the company's not-for-profit research arm; and The Camden Group, a national medical consulting firm. Founding Partner & Managing Partner of the HealthCare Partner's predecessor, California Primary Physician's Medical Group, one of the most respected and innovative of the physician-owned and -operated medical groups and MSOs in the United States, with 36 facilities, over 300 salaried primary care physicians and over 800 specialists provide fee-for-service and managed care in all specialties of medicine. Chairman of the Board of Trustees for California Hospital Medical Center.

DR. JEREMY NOBEL
	Dr. Nobel designs health care management and delivery systems that focus on cost and quality concerns. Working with employers, government, and other purchasers, as well as health plans and providers he developes and evaluates computer based information technology applications that coordinate critical aspects of healthcare delivery, support optimal practice patterns and improve patient satisfaction. His contributions to this field span twenty years and include providing health policy insight to the landmark Institute of Medicine of 1991 study addressing the automated patient record, which helped launch the Electronic Health Record (EHR) movement. Dr. Nobel is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine with MasterÕs Degrees in Epidemiology and Health Policy from the Harvard School of Public Health. He graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University within the Science and Human Affairs program. He received his medical education at the University of Pennsylvania and completed his internal medicine residency at the Beth Israel Hospital, Boston.

STEVE SHORTELL, Ph.D
	Stephen M. Shortell, Ph.D., M.P.H, MBA is the Blue Cross of California Distinguished Professor of Health Policy and Management and Professor of Organization Behavior at the School of Public Health and Haas School of Business at University of California-Berkeley. Dr. Shortell has received numerous awards for his research examining the performance of integrated delivery systems; the organizational factors associated with quality and outcomes of care; the development of effective hospital-physician relationships and the factors associated with the adoption of evidence-based processes for treating patients with chronic illness. He received his undergraduate degree from University of Notre Dame, his Masters degree in public health from UCLA, and his Ph.D. in behavioral sciences from University of Chicago. During 2006-07 he was a Fellow at the Center for Advanced Study in Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University.

TOM R. WILLIAMS
	Executive Director of the Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA) leading the implementation of Pay for Performance, the nation's largest physician incentive program. Health care consultant engaged in research and consulting related to business development, medical management, information management and health policy with over 20 years of P&L, operational and new business development experience. Doctoral student at the School of Public Health, University of California, Los Angeles. Former President of Aetna California, Inc. with P&L and general management responsibility for ten (10) state west region with up to $3 billion annual revenue and 2.7 million enrolled members.
