Carmella Harrison, Senior Vice President, joined Keenan in 1999. Since joining Keenan, Carmella has been recognized for her strong technical abilities in claims handling, expertise in the laws of workers’ compensation and ability to assist employees and customers. She has received several promotions including Technical Manager and Senior Director, Assistant Vice President, Vice President and Senior Vice President of Workers’ Compensation and Disability.

Carmella’s expertise and responsibilities have included compliance with MSA/CMS mandatory reporting, federal and state tax law administration, internal audits, formalized examiner training program (AB 1262 compliant), internal policies and procedures, legislative updates and state and federal compliance in support of all of our Integrated TPA Operations (WC, P&L, Disability and Benefit claims). She is currently responsible for the workers’ compensation department operations.

Carmella has been in the Workers’ Compensation industry for more than 24 years. Carmella is also a member of industry groups such as the California Coalition of Workers’ Compensation (CCWC) and The Noodle Group, groups that provide legislative support to the employer community and advocate legislative changes needed within our industry. She can often be seen leading many of Keenan’s educational and information webinars. She has obtained her IEA Certificate and is also certificated by the Department of Industrial Relations, Self-Insurance Plans.
